About Us

The Human Resources Department consists of human resources and safety/risk management under one umbrella.

Human Resources is responsible for handling the District's workforce. We manage labor relations, recruitment and hiring, training and employee performance, succession planning, employee compensation, and benefits. We ensure the District has the necessary talent - the right combination of skills, knowledge, and aptitude - to achieve strategic goals.

Safety/Risk Management is responsible for District safety and risk management programs. Safety oversight includes safety, health, and security policies and procedures.  Risk oversight includes loss control, risk assessment, workers' compensation, and property and liability insurance programs.
