About Us

The Human Resources Department consists of human resources and safety/risk management under one umbrella.

Human Resources is responsible for handling the Districts workforce. We manage labor relations, recruitment and hiring, training and employee performance, succession planning, employee compensation, and benefits. We ensure the District has the necessary talent - the right combination of skills, knowledge, aptitude - to achieve strategic goals.

Safety/Risk Management is responsible for District safety and risk management programs. Safety oversight includes safety, health, and security policies and procedures.  Risk oversight includes loss control, risk assessment, workers' compensation, property and liability insurance programs.
