2023-2024 Write-Off Contest

Theme: "Water Conservation with Wade"  

Rancho Water is proud to extend our Write-Off Contest to local high schools this year. Students write and illustrate an original story using our yearly water-related theme. Students can work individually or in groups of no more than three from the same class, creating their stories digitally or by hand. The winning submission will be published, distributed to local schools, and highlighted on our website. Participating in this contest gives students a hands-on way to learn about water as our most precious resource while showcasing their individual creative talents.

PLEASE SEND IN ALL SUBMISSIONS BY END-OF-DAY,  FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2023. 

• DIGITAL ENTRIES: must be submitted via flash drive, WeTransfer, or DropBox in an editable format (.AI, .PSD, .INDD, .TIFF, procreate file).
  
  

• HAND-DRAWN ENTRIES: must be the original artwork & mailed or dropped off at the Rancho Water district office in Temecula. 

* ALL WORK MUST BE ORIGINAL. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT AI-GENERATED, COPYRIGHTED, OR TRADEMARKED MATERIAL.*

Winning students & teachers may be honored at a 2024 recognition event

*Depending on the availability of attendees, a recognition event date will be determined in Spring 2024. 

ALL participating classrooms submitting complete stories are entered into a drawing to win a gift card for their choice of a pizza party or class supplies.
